It's Spring, bring the outdoors indoors too

I'm back. I have had out of town company, and I love it. I enjoyed a week of my brother and SIL from NYC and we shopped and made some Easter cards. And of course, just girl talk. I'm already planning a trip for fall to see Mama Mia, if we can work our where I will stay. This week-end a missionary friend of ours for over 25 years came up from Indiana to go to a family shower on Sunday, but stayed with me Friday and Saturday night. Boy, did we talk..... We have a lot in common and she's a wonderful person. I made some cookies for her without milk, she can't have it. I found the recipe on-line and they were the best cookies. They were made with whole oats and were very healthy too. But as I was taking the plate of cookies back into the kitchen I didn't see dum dum (my dog) and tripped over him and the cookies went all over the floor and I caught my heel under the coffee table. That dumb dog!!!!! Don't they know to stay still when you are trying to walk OVER them?????? Well, I said , there go the cookies and she said oh just blow on them and they will be fine. She said she would eat them, she's a missionary. They were in the Philippines and she said they had to blow red ants off of stuff before they ate, so I kept them and they were all eaten, dog hair and all although I had just vacuumed and just had Bailey shaved. I found this little project in a magazine, do you know hard it is to find birch bark paper???? I looked everywhere and called everywhere and couldn't find it. Guess where I found it???? Ebay!!!!! People actually think about selling bark on Ebay. Isn't that amazing. I should go out in my yard and get some mulch or something and try to sell it on Ebay.
